My name is Alexandra DiBella and I am the sole proprietor of It's Sew You! Embroidery & Monogramming. My first career was in healthcare, where I worked as a registered radiographer for 15 years. Working in healthcare was a rewarding field, but I have always loved arts, crafts, and working with my hands. My first love was drawing, but I've dabbled in painting, jewelry making, quilting, etc... As a child my grandmother would let me cut up old clothes so I could sew outfits for my dolls. This was done by hand, of course. Eventually I taught myself how to use a sewing machine. Fast forward to 2020 and the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, I began sewing cloth masks with the help of my mother-in-law and we gave them to anyone that needed them. Embroidery was always something I wanted to try, so I decided to just go for it! I bought a sewing/embroidery combo machine in April of 2020 and all of a sudden people were coming to me to have things personalized! I decided to start my sole proprietorship in August of 2020 and it has been so much fun!! Now I'm doing logos for local business and schools, monogramming for gifts (especially during Christmas), and adding special little details to items people use every day like hand towels and blankets.
